A serious traffic accident closed the D8 highway in the Ústí region early Friday morning. The collision occurred shortly before 4:15 AM in the direction from the border toward Ústí nad Labem. A passenger car and a truck were involved in the crash. Emergency services reported three injured individuals at the scene. One person was trapped inside the passenger vehicle and required extraction. Authorities had to close the highway to manage the aftermath of the collision. Traffic was significantly disrupted while rescue operations took place.
