Serbia has officially joined NASA’s Artemis program following a signing agreement in Washington D.C. The agreement was signed by Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marko Đurić. This participation signifies Serbia's commitment to international space exploration and collaboration with the United States. The Artemis program aims to return humans to the Moon and establish a sustainable lunar presence, ultimately preparing for future missions to Mars.
