The Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management announced today the approval of over 12,000 applications for beekeeping subsidies in the first cycle of automated processing. A total of 800 million dinars (approximately $6.8 million USD) has been allocated to support beekeepers across the country. The funds are intended to bolster the apiculture sector and assist with operational costs. This initial round of approvals represents a significant investment in Serbian beekeeping. The Ministry stated that the automated processing system streamlined the application review process. Further cycles of application review and funding disbursement are anticipated. This initiative aims to strengthen domestic honey production and support the livelihoods of beekeepers.
