A senior woman residing on Karlovarska Street became the victim of a sophisticated financial scam. She was approached by an individual posing as a professional investment advisor. The fraudster convinced the woman that he could profitably grow her savings. Trusting these promises, she filled out a form online to initiate the process. However, the promised returns never materialized. Instead of investing the funds, the culprit cleared out her bank account. In total, the victim was defrauded of a quarter of a million Czech koruna.
