Actress Mame Diarra Diop, known as Diodio, has been placed in pretrial detention by Prosecutor Saliou Dicko. She was arrested alongside three other individuals: Talla Dia, Babacar Dièye, and Baye Zalé Mbengue. The group was handed over to the authorities by the Gendarmerie of Keur Massar. They face serious charges, including criminal association and the possession and use of narcotics. Following their appearance at the prosecutor's office, all four suspects were ordered into provisional detention. They will remain in prison until their legal proceedings begin. The trial is scheduled to take place on June 24, 2026, at the Pikine-Guédiawaye court.
