The appointments signal a progressive reorganization within the state administration following a series of departures at various leadership levels. Moustapha Mbengue now heads the Directorate General of National Archives, replacing Dr. Mohamed Lat Sack Diop. Mamadou Diouf has been appointed to lead the Agency for Local Development (ADL), while Cheikh Ahmeth Tidiane Gueye is the new director of SONACOS SA, the national oilseed marketing company. Abdou Simbandy Diatta will direct the Museum of Black Civilizations, succeeding Mouhamed Abdallah Ly.
