Senegal’s National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (ANACIM) has forecast rainfall and thunderstorms across ten localities on Monday, July 27, 2026. The precipitation is expected to primarily affect the south, southeast, and east of the country, potentially spreading to central areas. Specifically, Ziguinchor, Cap-Skirring, Sédhiou, Kolda, Kédougou, Tambacounda, Bakel, Kaffrine, and Kaolack are at highest risk. The Fatick region may also experience localized showers. ANACIM warns that these rains may be accompanied by thunderstorms of varying intensity. Northern regions and the northern coastline are expected to remain largely unaffected, with stable weather conditions prevailing.
