Following a partial solar eclipse, Senegal is preparing for a night of unstable weather. The National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (ANACIM) forecasts heavy rain and thunderstorms across the south and southeast of the country between 10 PM Wednesday and dawn Thursday. Thirteen localities are on high alert, including Ziguinchor, Cap Skirring, and Kédougou, which are considered the most at risk. The potentially affected areas extend from the Casamance region in the south to Kédougou in the east. While some areas face a higher probability of storms, others remain under surveillance with a more uncertain risk.
