S. Batsaikhan, Chief Engineer of the Geodesy and Water Construction Department, announced that landscaping work along the Selbe River is over 80% complete. Recent heavy rains and melting snow in the mountains have significantly increased the river's water levels. To manage this, engineers have implemented flow control measures and temporary outlets to ensure stability. The project includes the installation of flood-resistant stone pedestrian paths and recreational areas for citizens on both sides of the river. If water levels continue to rise, authorities plan to enhance drainage pipe capacity and adjust water outlets. The development is being carried out by the Geodesy and Water Construction Department and Sila Construction Group. The total budget for the project is 6.2 billion MNT.
