Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev stated that the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) has transformed significantly over the past quarter-century. Initially established as a mechanism to build trust between neighboring nations, the SCO has grown into a major transnational international organization. The organization now unites countries possessing substantial human, economic, scientific, technological, and cultural resources. Kulubaev made these remarks during an interview with China’s Xinhua news agency. He emphasized the SCO’s role in the evolving global landscape. The Foreign Minister highlighted that the SCO is now a central force in shaping a multipolar world order, offering an alternative to existing power structures. This indicates a strengthening of the SCO's importance on the international stage.
