Saudi retail giant BinDawood Holding has purchased two Estonian dairy factories, located in Paide and Põltsamaa, for €135.25 million. The acquisition, made through its subsidiary JUUST & JUBN OÜ, follows the bankruptcy of Estonian dairy producer AS E-Piim Tootmine. The deal includes the factories' property, machinery, assets, and associated contractual rights. This purchase is anticipated to facilitate the export of Estonian cheese to markets across the Gulf region. BinDawood Holding, a family-controlled company listed on the Saudi Exchange, aims to expand its reach through this strategic investment. The sale was conducted through a public auction as part of the bankruptcy proceedings. This marks a significant foreign investment in Estonia's dairy sector.
