An exhibition showcasing letters written by children during the Siege of Sarajevo has opened, marking three decades since the war’s conclusion. Italian war journalist Franco Giuliano curated the cultural-memorial exhibition, titled “Sarajevo-from War to Peace. Thirty Years Later.” The letters, born from fear, hope, and dreams amidst conflict, now serve as powerful testimonials. The exhibit provides a space for these young voices to be heard after years of silence. Giuliano’s work aims to deliver a message of peace through these preserved artifacts of childhood.
