The incident occurred overnight on Saturday into Sunday, with the company notifying users of the potential compromise. Stolen data may include personal information such as names, addresses, dates of birth, phone numbers, and email addresses. Payment history is also potentially compromised. Ryde states there’s no indication that user movement data was included in the breach. The company has reported the incident to both the police and the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
