Estonian authorities have concluded that Russia’s intelligence services ordered an arson attack on Milrem Robotics, a defence company located in Tallinn, Estonia. The fire occurred in the early hours of August 15th and marks the first successful Russian-sponsored attack within Estonia this year. Margo Palloson, director-general of the Estonian Internal Security Service (Kapo), confirmed the attack evaded initial security measures. Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal stated the act was a deliberate act of sabotage commissioned by Russian intelligence. The Estonian foreign ministry intends to summon Russia’s chargé d’affaires to address the incident. This incident represents a significant escalation in tensions between Estonia and Russia.
