Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported intercepting a total of 91 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) within the last 24 hours. According to the MoD, 23 drones were shot down over the Ryazan region, while a further 68 were destroyed over the Saratov region. This marks a significant claim of activity by Russian air defense systems in repelling what they describe as Ukrainian attacks. The Ministry did not elaborate on the type or origin of the drones. No information regarding potential damage or casualties resulting from these intercepted UAVs has been released. These incidents occurred as fighting continues in Ukraine, with both sides frequently reporting drone activity. The Russian Ministry of Defense maintains that its forces are effectively neutralizing threats to Russian territory, including the Ryazan region and Saratov region.
