Romania’s National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) is auctioning a large lot of 17,000 plush toys. The starting bid for the entire collection is 170,000 lei, equivalent to just over 32,000 euros. This equates to a price of approximately 10 lei (roughly 2 euros) per toy. The majority of the toys are described as colorful plush animals in shades of pink, brown, and blue. The reason for the auction and the origin of the toys were not immediately specified in the announcement. Interested parties can participate in the auction process through ANAF’s official channels. The sale represents an attempt by the agency to recover assets or liquidate unclaimed goods.
