Presidential advisor Eugen Tomac stated that Romanian President Nicușor Dan will nominate a prime minister as soon as a clear governing majority is established. Tomac emphasized the necessity of “intense dialogue” between political parties to achieve this majority. He indicated that parties must demonstrate greater flexibility in negotiations. The timing of the nomination is therefore contingent on successful coalition talks. Currently, no firm timeframe exists for the appointment. This announcement follows a period of political uncertainty as parties vie for power and attempt to forge alliances. The President aims to ensure a stable government can be formed.
