Romanian social media personality Alexandru Zidaru, known as Makaveli, was taken into police custody for questioning regarding alleged tax evasion totaling 574,000 lei (approximately $125,000 USD). During the interrogation, Zidaru reportedly complained of feeling unwell and was subsequently transported to Floreasca Hospital under police escort. The circumstances surrounding his illness are currently unknown. Sources from the Libertatea newspaper reported the incident. Zidaru previously identified as an advisor to Diana, a prominent pro-Russian extremist figure. The investigation is ongoing, and further details regarding the alleged tax evasion have not yet been released. Authorities have not commented on Zidaru’s current medical condition.
