Romania’s interim Minister of European Investments and Projects, Dragoș Pîslaru, has signed a funding agreement exceeding one billion lei (approximately €200 million) for water and sewage network modernization in Tulcea County. The project aims to improve infrastructure for 11 localities within the county. Over 92,000 residents are expected to benefit from enhanced water supply and sanitation services as a result of the investment. Minister Pîslaru stated the project will significantly improve the quality of life for residents. The funding will be allocated to upgrading existing networks and implementing new infrastructure. This initiative represents a substantial investment in improving public health and environmental standards in the region. The project is expected to have a transformative impact on the communities served.
