Romania’s National Agency for Payments and Social Inspection (ANPIS) has disbursed social benefits for May through its regional agencies in June. Over 1.2 billion lei (approximately $65 million USD) was allocated specifically to state child allowances. This payment represents a significant portion of the total social assistance funds distributed. The funds were transferred to eligible families via regional agencies responsible for social welfare administration.
