He indicated that imports will primarily compensate for the lost production capacity. Should regional energy availability become insufficient, authorities might implement consumption limits during peak hours. However, these limitations would target large industrial consumers, not households or essential services. Bușoi emphasized that the country currently has sufficient energy production for domestic needs. The government is prioritizing continued energy access for the general population, despite the plant’s maintenance. These measures aim to mitigate potential disruptions and ensure a stable energy supply.
