Realitatea Plus television channel in Romania has made a programming change, temporarily replacing regular host Anca Alexandrescu with Ana-Maria Păcuraru, the daughter of the station’s owner, Maricel Păcuraru. Păcuraru will host a new show titled “Miza Zilei” (The Day’s Stake). The new program will occupy the timeslot previously held by Alexandrescu. The first episode is scheduled to air on July 27th. Representatives from Realitatea Plus were contacted for comment by Paginademedia.ro. This shift raises questions about potential influence of ownership on programming decisions at the station. No reason for Alexandrescu’s temporary replacement was immediately given.
