A poetry session was held in Kushtia to commemorate the death anniversary of the great poet Rabindranath Tagore. The event, organized by the Kushtia Bondhu Shabha, featured discussions and recitations of Tagore’s literature. Jasim Uddin presided over the session, while Jobaida Yasmin recited the poem "Sonar Tari" from the collection of the same name. Sajjad Hossain recited "Akasher Chand," and Ifat Khandaker performed "Protiksha." Russell Pramanik recited verses from "Gitanjali", adding to the tribute for the renowned poet. The gathering served as a respectful homage to Tagore's enduring legacy.
