The Bangladeshi government has approved a $172 million (approximately 171.907764 million Bangladeshi Taka) contract to construct an eleven-story headquarters building for the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB). The approval was granted during a government procurement committee meeting chaired by Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury on Wednesday. This new facility will serve as the central headquarters for the RAB, a specialized unit of the Bangladesh Police.
