A week-long siege is underway in the Palestinian village of Qusra, located in the occupied West Bank. Extremist Israeli settlers are surrounding homes where Palestinian families are sheltering, effectively trapping them inside. Notably, the Israeli army is present in the area but has not intervened to break the siege or protect the Palestinian residents. This situation highlights a growing sense of lawlessness and lack of control in the region. RFI has been in contact with one of the Palestinian women currently confined to her home in Qusra. The ongoing events raise concerns about the safety and wellbeing of the villagers and the Israeli military's role, or lack thereof, in maintaining order.
