A concert by artist Barbara Butch in Grenoble was interrupted Saturday evening by pro-Palestinian activists and supporters of La France Insoumise (LFI). The disruption occurred after approximately twenty minutes of performance, following a boycott call initiated by the LFI section in the Isère department. The activists were demonstrating in support of Palestine. Bally Bagayoko, described as “l’insoumis,” stated the DJ "was right" to consider filing a complaint over the incident. Butch is of Jewish faith, adding a layer of complexity to the situation. This incident highlights growing tensions surrounding artistic events and political activism related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in France. Further legal action by the DJ remains a possibility.
