Prague Pride, a festival advocating for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals, will culminate in a parade this Saturday. The parade will begin with participants gathering in the lower section of Wenceslas Square at 10:00 AM. A moment of silence will be observed at 11:55 AM to commemorate the victims of the July attack during a similar event in Berlin. The march will proceed to Štvanice, where the festival will conclude. Organizers intend the parade to be a show of solidarity and remembrance. This year’s event carries particular significance following the tragic events in Germany. The parade aims to promote inclusivity and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Prague.
