A power outage in Ås municipality, Norway, on Saturday afternoon has forced the closure of Tusenfryd amusement park. All rides have been halted, and guests have been evacuated from attractions like the Tømmerrenna log flume. Approximately 686 customers are currently without power in the area surrounding the park. Tusenfryd’s marketing manager, Erik Røhne Andersen, confirmed the outage and stated staff are following standard safety procedures. Power company Elvia is aware of the issue and is working to identify and resolve the cause of the outage. The park anticipates resuming operations once power is restored. No estimated time for restoration has been provided.
