Wanda Traczyk-Stawska, a soldier in the 1944 Warsaw Uprising, has died at the age of 98. The news was announced by Member of the European Parliament Michał Szczerba. Known by her wartime nickname "Pączek" (Donut), Traczyk-Stawska was a celebrated figure in Poland for her bravery and dedication during the uprising against Nazi occupation.
