Poland is responding to a surge in youth violence with a significant increase in police presence at schools. Following three stabbing incidents within four days, the government is deploying 20,000 police officers to educational institutions across the country. Prime Minister Donald Tusk has acknowledged the concerning rise in violent behaviour among young people, prompting the nationwide deployment. Authorities are investigating potential links between this violence and exposure to content glorifying aggression online and in video games. Furthermore, 80,000 educational institutions are currently undergoing inspections. The government states its priority is safeguarding the safety of children while attending schools in Poland.
