Papua New Guinea has initiated its first national survey focused on the lives of people with disabilities. The “Disability in the Community Survey,” launched by CSNU, aims to document the everyday realities, challenges, and community perceptions faced by individuals with disabilities, their caregivers, and families. This initiative seeks to gather authentic stories and experiences from across the nation. However, access to the full survey results is behind a paywall, requiring a subscription to the Post Courier. The survey intends to provide valuable insights into the needs and experiences of this often-marginalized population.
