The Wapenamanda District Development Authority (WDDA) in Papua New Guinea has provided K23,000 in financial assistance to the National Polytechnic Institute. This funding will cover school fees for 23 students from the Wapenamanda District who are currently studying at the institute in Lae, Morobe Province. WDDA Chief Executive Officer Kevin Yatu personally delivered the cheque to the school administration. The subsidy aims to support access to tertiary education for students within the district. This initiative highlights the WDDA’s commitment to investing in the educational advancement of its residents. Details of the payment were released by the Post Courier.
