Google has begun rolling out Gemini, its advanced AI model, to Pixel phones. The update, released on February 17th, introduces five key AI-powered features designed to enhance user experience. These include improved summarization capabilities in the Recorder app, enhanced Smart Reply suggestions, and the ability to generate AI-powered visuals directly within the Messages app. Gemini also powers a new "Circle to Search" feature, allowing users to highlight anything on their screen to initiate a Google Search. The update is initially available for Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel 7a devices, with wider availability planned for other Pixel models. This integration aims to make AI more accessible and integrated into everyday smartphone use.
