A Polish MP from the ruling PiS party, Michał Moskal, met with the head of cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto, Przemysław Kral, on the Spanish island of Ibiza in August 2025. The meeting also included Artur Chodziński, a former agent of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau. Moskal reportedly sought collaboration with the exchange, which subsequently failed a few months later. Following the meeting, the MP became increasingly involved in cryptocurrency-related issues within the Polish parliament. The timing of the meeting and Moskal’s subsequent parliamentary activity are raising questions regarding potential conflicts of interest. Investigators are now examining the circumstances surrounding the meeting and the MP’s actions. The case highlights growing scrutiny of the cryptocurrency sector and its intersection with Polish politics.
