Eddie Owens Martin, a Georgia artist, spent nearly 30 years creating Pasaquan, a remarkable art environment on his inherited property. Over time, the site faced deterioration due to environmental exposure, threatening its vibrant artistic integrity. Recognizing its significance, the Kohler Foundation undertook a comprehensive restoration project. This undertaking has successfully revitalized the site, preserving Martin’s unique artistic vision for future generations. Pasaquan now stands as a testament to one man’s creativity and the power of preservation efforts.
