Negotiations for a coalition government in Pardubice have faltered, as the STAN movement has ceased discussions with ANO and Žijeme Pardubice. The potential coalition appeared nearly finalized as of Sunday, following initial agreements between the parties on Saturday evening. Leaders from all three groups had jointly announced their progress to the media after a series of meetings. The plan was to broaden the coalition by including additional parties. However, STAN has now withdrawn from further talks, throwing the future government formation in Pardubice into uncertainty. The reasons for STAN’s decision remain unclear, but it effectively ends the immediate prospect of a three-party coalition.
