Over 180 primary and elementary school teachers in Papua New Guinea’s Morobe Province are participating in a three-day professional development workshop in Umi LLG. The in-service training, organized through the Waritsian Cluster, aims to bolster teachers’ classroom management techniques. A key focus of the training is deepening educators’ comprehension and implementation of the Standards-Based Curriculum (SBC) for first and second grade students. The workshop seeks to improve the quality of education delivered to young learners in the region. Details of access to the original report require a paid subscription to the Post Courier. The training represents an investment in the professional growth of educators within the Markham District.
