Panama’s National Aeronaval Service (SENAN) has transported over 114,000 pounds (approximately 66,000 kilograms) of humanitarian aid to communities impacted by the recent earthquake. Joint assessments with the Ministry of Housing and the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) indicate that the southern zone of the province of Los Santos, parts of Herrera, the southern region of Veraguas, and areas of Soná continue to require assistance. The SENAN is actively involved in delivering essential supplies to these affected areas following the disaster. These coordinated efforts aim to support recovery and provide relief to residents in need. The ongoing assessments are crucial for understanding the full extent of the damage and ensuring aid is distributed effectively. Continued support will be vital for the long-term rebuilding of these communities in Los Santos, Herrera, Veraguas and Soná.
