A foreign-made pistol bearing the inscription “Made in Pakistan” and two rounds of ammunition were recovered by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-4) from the construction site of a washroom at a Madrasah in Ashulia, Savar, Bangladesh. The discovery occurred during a raid on the Tahafizul Quranul Karim Fazil Madrasah in the Sripur Gonokbari area on Thursday, June 18th. The weapon was found abandoned during the search of the premises. Authorities released a statement detailing the recovery in the afternoon. The origin and intended use of the pistol are currently under investigation. This incident raises concerns about potential illicit arms trafficking and security at educational institutions.
