The chief of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Lt Gen Muhammad Asim Malik, met with Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa on Sunday. The meeting, held at Riffa Palace, focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing recent regional and international developments. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepening ties and pursuing shared objectives for mutual prosperity. The Crown Prince emphasized Pakistan’s significant role in bolstering regional security and stability, while Lt Gen Malik expressed gratitude for Bahrain’s dedication to improving relations. Discussions also covered enhancing joint coordination across various sectors. This meeting follows a recent phone call between Bahrain’s and Pakistan’s foreign ministers regarding the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement and a planned visit to Pakistan.
