Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decline on Monday, influenced by a strengthening US dollar and decreased international bullion rates. The price of gold decreased by PKR 1,800 per tola, reaching PKR 240,500. Simultaneously, the price of 10-gram gold also saw a reduction, falling by PKR 1,543 to PKR 206,150. This downturn follows a recent increase in gold prices observed in the Pakistani market last week. Market analysts attribute the current fall to the dollar's appreciation, making gold relatively more expensive for Pakistani buyers. The international spot price also contributed to the decline, further impacting the local market trends in Pakistan.
