Pakistani authorities have implemented extensive security and traffic plans nationwide in preparation for Eid Miladun Nabi processions on Wednesday. In Karachi alone, over 4,200 police officers have been deployed, with significant numbers focused on securing main procession routes and gathering points like Nishtar Park. Police officials have been instructed to maintain high alert and monitor the situation via CCTV. Three major processions are planned in Karachi, commencing after 2 PM from various locations and concluding at key mosques by Asr prayers. Traffic police have developed a comprehensive diversion plan to minimize disruption, directing commuters to alternative routes around Nazimabad, Liaquatabad, Hassan Square, and Jail Flyover. The measures aim to ensure the safety and smooth flow of traffic during the religious observance.
