More than 3,000 observers are preparing to monitor the various stages of the legislative elections scheduled for September 23rd in Morocco. This follows the accreditation by a special committee of observers and monitoring organizations representing 26 non-governmental organizations and national institutions. Additionally, 30 international entities and organizations have also been accredited to participate in the observation process. The committee announced these accreditations following meetings held on September 4th and 7th at the headquarters of the National Human Rights Council in Morocco. The accreditations aim to ensure transparency and fairness throughout the electoral process. These observers will play a crucial role in monitoring the proceedings and reporting on the conduct of the elections. The initiative underscores Morocco’s commitment to democratic principles and inclusive elections.
