An Ottawa father is suspected of murdering his two sons, aged seven and twelve, at their home on Monday. Following the killings, he allegedly firebombed his dental practice in a neighboring village. The man was later found dead in a vehicle fire, presumed to be a suicide. Investigators have revealed that prior to the tragedy, the father had threatened to harm his ex-wife and those around her. The case is currently being investigated as a domestic violence-fueled murder-suicide. Police have released the man’s identity but are withholding it pending notification of all next of kin.
