Roadwork on the E18 eastbound approach to Oslo, along with ramps connecting to Ring 3, has concluded earlier than anticipated. Motorists were previously advised to avoid the area until 2 PM Sunday due to the installation of a bicycle bridge. However, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration announced the highway is now open to normal traffic flow. Construction manager Thomas Riis Østergaard stated the bridge elements have been successfully installed, allowing for the early reopening. The ramp towards Fornebu is expected to reopen during the morning. Østergaard thanked both the construction crew working throughout the weekend and drivers who heeded the advice to avoid the area or seek alternative routes.
