Novo Nordisk, a Danish pharmaceutical company, has officially opened a new manufacturing facility in Bohumil, near Prague, Czech Republic. The company invested over eight billion Czech crowns into the plant, with 3.5 billion crowns allocated to modernization efforts. The facility will produce components for innovative medications used in the treatment of diabetes and obesity. According to company President Mike Doustdar, production commenced earlier this month.
