Elite Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) forces in Dhaka, Bangladesh, have arrested Mosharraf Hossain, known as “Pichi Mosharraf,” a top-listed drug trafficker and armed criminal. The arrest occurred late Monday night in the North Maulvirtek area of Rampura during a special operation conducted by RAB-3. Authorities seized a significant quantity of yaba tablets, cash, and a foreign revolver from the suspect. Further investigation based on Mosharraf’s information led to the recovery of additional evidence in the Badda area of Dhaka. Mosharraf is a known figure on the Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) list of most wanted criminals. The RAB continues to investigate his network and potential associates. This arrest represents a significant disruption to drug trafficking operations in the capital.
