Over 150,000 applicants to Norwegian higher education have received responses through the centralized application service, Samordna opptak, according to the Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir). Director Sveinung Skule congratulated those who received offers and reminded students to respond by the July 24th deadline. Despite the initial offers, opportunities remain for students still seeking a place. Vacant positions will be published on July 19th, utilizing a first-come, first-served system with rolling admissions. HK-dir encourages prospective students to apply quickly to maximize their chances. The announcement marks a key milestone in the Norwegian university admissions cycle. This system aims to streamline the application process for both students and institutions.
