Norwegian ski star Kristine Skistad was unable to attend the national team training camp in Norway. According to fellow Olympic champion Marit Bjørgen, Skistad is doing very badly. She has found herself in the midst of a crisis. Bjørgen revealed to VG that Skistad couldn't participate in the Norway camp due to the situation. Norwegian television channel TV 2 reported earlier in September that Skistad accuses her former coach, Lage Sofienlund, of abuse of power, among other things. Skistad lodged complaints regarding Sofienlund's conduct with both Konnerud IL ski club and the Norwegian Ski Association.
