NMB Bank has committed a 150 million Tanzanian shilling (approximately $60,000 USD) sponsorship to the eighth edition of the CDF Cup. The tournament, organized by the Tanzania People’s Defence Force (TPDF), is scheduled to take place in Dar es Salaam from July 6th to 17th. This year’s competition will feature military teams participating in a total of thirteen different sports. Football, volleyball, basketball, and handball are among the disciplines included in the event. The sponsorship aims to support the development of sports within the Tanzanian military. The CDF Cup serves as a platform for showcasing athletic talent and fostering camaraderie among the armed forces. This marks a significant investment in the annual multi-sport competition.
